Hi, I'm Tamara, the face behind TBH Strategy.
Hello!
I'm a social media manager and content creator based in Tralee, Co. Kerry, working with small businesses who are brilliant at what they do, but don't have the time or headspace to keep up with their social media.
I always knew I wanted to build something of my own. I tried different things, explored different paths, but nothing really clicked. Meanwhile, at my day job, I kept finding myself drawn to the social media side of things. Creating content, writing captions, figuring out what worked and what didn't. I was good at it, but more importantly, I genuinely enjoyed it.
It took a nudge from a colleague, the lovely Tracy, to make me realise that what I was doing for free, in my spare time, was actually a skill worth building a business around.
So I enrolled in Kerry College to study Social Media for Digital Marketing. And that was it. Everything clicked.
Since then I've completed a masterclass with Michelle McNulty, done courses in SEO and AEO, including how to make businesses discoverable through AI search, and launched TBH Strategy to help small businesses in Kerry grow online.
The passion was there all along. I just hadn't found the right name for it yet.
What I loved most wasn't the likes or the follower counts. It was seeing the actual impact, more enquiries coming in, more people recognizing the brand, more confidence from the business owner knowing their online presence was working.
Our teacher Karen Twomey shared this with us at Kerry College and it stuck with me immediately:
“When you try to be everything to everyone, you accomplish being nothing to anyone.”
